Is this you?

  • Your cutting machine is still untouched in the box
  • You tried using it but wasn't successful
  • You took it out of the box, took one look at it and promptly put it back

If so, this Design 2 Cut Zoom Bootcamp is for you!

This bootcamp is a preview of my Design 2 Cut Masterclass. These recorded videos you will give a Quick Start on designing and cutting using your machine.

You will learn how to get started using Inkscape, which is a free open source vector drawing program. All machines can use Inkscape files, which is one reason I choose this program.

In this course you will quickly create a design for a basic stencil and cut it. Success, right out of the gate!

That's what I'm talking about!

Hi, I'm Angie Knowles, the left brain artist

Educator & Textile Artist

Learning new things is who I am; it is what I do.  Sharing that knowledge as an educator and mixed media textile artist is also who I am and what I do.   My art is an physical manifestation of my learning and sharing.

I teach to pass on my knowledge in the hope that it inspires others to keep the circle of knowledge going.  My teaching style is very direct step by step process orientated. I aim to give my students the skills to get started and then master the process, making it their own.

My art comes from my desire to learn new things, to figure out solutions, to explore new ideas and reflects my interest in opposing forces; how opposites complement and complete each other.

One of the many processes I use when creating my art is to use the cutting machine to make silk screens, stencils, stamps and to cut fusible applique for my art quilts.
