I like exploring different ways to make silk screens. The traditional way using photo emulsion is great for professionals, but a bit complicated for my needs. One way that I like is to use a medium weight interfacing which has been painted using basic house paint. The paint seals the interfacing making it waterproof.
I have a short YouTube video show my process of painting the interfacing. I usually paint up several pieces at once, so when I am ready to make a silk screen I am ready to go.
